Three generations came to play at the Art Museum for Soar in 4. Hunter, 17 months, is the grandson of a paraeducator at Oneco Elementary. Soar has reinforced the parents’ practices (“We read to him in the womb,” mom reveals) and provides new ideas to help ensure he is ready to start VPK when the time arrives. “He loves reading,” the family explains. “He’s attentive for twenty pages or more.” While they have attended Soar in 4 multiple times now, September was the first time the family had been to the South Florida Museum. “I did not get the opportunity to attend museums growing up,” Hunter’s mom said. “It was amazing to see myself and also experience it for the first time with my son.”

At 17 months, Hunter squeals, dances, and claps along to the music lead by hip hop and beatbox artist, Rick Levine.
